Important Information



The Registration & Information Desk, located in the Foyer outside Room 2, will open from 8.00am on Monday 25 July and remain open throughout the duration of the Symposium.

Registration fees include attendance to all sessions, morning and afternoon teas, and lunches, as scheduled in the Symposium programme. The full Symposium fee also includes entry to the Pre-Dinner Networking Drinks and Symposium Awards Dinner on Monday 25 July. A set bar tab applies for Pre-Dinner Networking Drinks; thereafter a cash bar will be available to purchase drinks.

The Symposium Opening will commence at 8.30am on Monday 25 July.

Keynote presentations will be held in Room 1

Streamed sessions will be held in Room 1 and  Room 2  simultaneously.

 During scheduled breaks, be sure to visit the stands in the Exhibition Area located in Room 4. This is where morning teas, lunches, afternoon teas and Pre-Dinner Networking Drinks will take place.

The venue for the Symposium Awards Dinner is in Room 1

Luggage may be stored in Room 3

We have allowed five minutes between streamed sessions to provide time for delegates to move between rooms ready for the next scheduled session.

Please wear your name tag at all times, including at the Pre-Dinner Networking Drinks and Symposium Awards Dinner.

Dress Code

Smart casual attire throughout the 2016 ALGIM Information Management / Records Symposium is appropriate, with the exception of the Symposium Awards Dinner on Monday 25 July, which is semi-formal.

Toilets 

Toilets are located on the mezzanine floor across the foyer from Rooms 1-4


Emergencies

In case of emergencies an alarm will sound, please follow the nearest  exit and proceed to Frank Kits Park. Venue Staff will be on hand to assist and guide you to the correct assembly point.

In the event of an earthquake, wait until the shaking has stopped before evacuating the building.

There is a trained first-aider onsite in case of medical emergency.
